The leaderboard turns raw public Polymarket data into five numbers that actually tell you something. Here is what each one means — and where it can mislead you.
Ranked profit and total traded volume come straight from Polymarket's public leaderboard for the all-time, 30-day, and 7-day windows. Volume matters as much as PnL: a huge PnL on enormous volume is a thinner edge than the same PnL on modest volume.
Computed from public closed positions: the share of closed positions with positive realized PnL. A high win rate with a small average win can still lose money, so read it alongside PnL, not on its own.
The largest peak-to-trough drop across the wallet's realized-PnL sequence. It's the gut-check number: two wallets with identical PnL are not equal if one reached it smoothly and the other survived a brutal drawdown.
Current public positions and their combined value — the wallet's live exposure right now. A whale with many open positions is actively deployed; one with none has taken profit or gone flat.
A maker posts resting orders and gets queue-priority fills; a taker crosses the spread. This matters enormously for copy-trading: a maker-heavy whale's fills are not reproducible by buying later at market, and a taker's entry may already have moved the price. That's why this tool frames wallets as leads to verify, not signals to blindly mirror.
